One of my fav's....

One of my favorite rooms in our new house has quickly become the foyer! Why, you ask? Well last week it was okay.. Painted the same color as living room.. Nice entryway, etc... But THIS week it has taken on a whole new look!! Lori Golden, who goes to church with us, does some faux finishing on the side. Let me tell you she is fabulous! So sweet & fun to visit with! She came over & transformed the foyer by doing a metallic finish.. It looks bronze & is so cool! I love it! It really makes the room stand out! So glad I was able to get to know Lori a little better & see how talented she is! Would definitely recommend her to anybody looking to change a room up!

It's a............

BOY!!! We went for our big ultrasound & monthly dr's appointment yesterday! The ultrasound tech & our doctor said everything looked great & our baby is healthy! They measured an arm, leg, & head & the size was right on track for our due date. The heart looked good & all 4 chambers were there. It is so cool how detailed those ultrasounds are! And we loved Tina because she would tell us what she was doing each time she was measuring & explain to us each thing they check for.

After she measured everything, she said, "Oh, you see that, huh? It's a boy!" Eric & I just looked at each other, because he was still not convinced that he wanted to know! Ooops! Too late! He knows now!! We are excited, but most of all, so so thankful that our baby is healthy so far. God is good!

Friday is the big day...

So, we have an appointment for our "big" ultrasound on Friday! We go in at 8:30 that morning & our regular monthly dr's appt will follow afterwards. Eric & I have yet to agree if we will find out the sex, but I'm determined to know! If he has to leave the room while I find out, that is what will happen! I just cannot wait! I respect people who can do that & this it is so cool, but I am just not one of those people who has enough patience for that! I am such a planner! I want to be ready for them, but more than that, I want them to have an identity long before they arrive! No more calling the baby "it" and no more talking about boy & girl names! Once we know, we can make the decisions & prepare for our baby's arrival!
So anyway, I hope Eric will decide to find out as well, but either way, I've got to know!

More than finding out the sex, I am anxious about them checking all of the baby's organs & growth. Please join us in praying that our baby will be healthy & everything will measure as it should!

Many people have been asking how I am feeling... The answer is GREAT! Seriously, I have thought to myself, could I really be pregnant feeling this great? My friends have assured me that I shouldn't think twice about it & just enjoy!! I am growing for sure... My regular clothes do not fit, although someone who didn't know I was pregnant would probably just think that I had gained weight!! Ready for a "rounder" belly!! :-)

We have paint!! Just not completed yet...

The painters have really been moving along quickly this week & I am loving seeing color on the walls!! They even worked all day Saturday & got alot done! I am not even going to guess when we will be moving in, but praying it is in the next 3 or 4 weeks. We are ready!
