Wow, I’ve been really bad about documenting this pregnancy! I always heard your second pregnancy was totally different, mainly because you had another little one to chase after. Well, that was right! Time is flying by during this pregnancy so that’s really nice. I’m 1 day shy of 29 weeks & so far, so good! Aside from having to go back for the 3 hour glucose test (which I passed), it’s been smooth sailing with no hitches. I’m praying that will continue!! Please pray for me that my BP will stay under control!!! Aside from my blood pressure, my other concern was my platelets. During my pregnancy with Hudson, I was told I had low platelets around 28 weeks. Fortunately, they jumped to an acceptable level before delivery. But this time, at my initial pregnancy visit back at 8 weeks, my platelets were already low. Not a good sign, because pregnancy typically makes them drop. But, as of my appointment last week, my platelet levels were normal! Praise!! I am so thankful & pray that they will stay okay. We will be having a scheduled c-section (b/c of my LONG labor with c-section with Hudson) but I don’t have an official date yet. It will be 1-2 weeks before due date, which means 10 weeks at the MAX!
The nursery is coming along & I am LOVING it so far! Pink is fun!
