Hi all! Well we've had an interesting (or not so much) week! It all started with my drs appointment last Tuesday.. I went in & during all the routine stuff my blood pressure was pretty high. They made me rest a while & it did come down to an acceptable level. I had an NST & the baby's heartrate looked great. Dr LeBleu told me that day that I needed to go ahead & get off work.. She was nervous with my pressures that high & I needed to take it easy. So I did for the rest of the week. I had another appointment on Friday & when I got there it was a repeat... Same high blood pressure.. Still, the baby's heartrate looked good. She was debating on putting me in the hospital over the weekend & decided to go ahead & do so for 24 hours. So we left the drs office around 11am on Friday morning & went straight to St Francis to check in. She said if my pressure came down & everything else looked okay, we could go home on Saturday. She went ahead & scheduled my inducement for next Sunday evening, June 28th. A week from today! Oh my!
We had a fairly uneventful stay at the hospital. Ultrasound looked good, baby's heartrate continues to look good, and my blood pressures came back down to a reasonable level. I totally think I have white coat syndrome. I get SO nervous everytime they are about to take it. I can feel myself getting worked up & my heartrate starting to rise. It is ridiculous & makes me so mad. I don't know why I get so anxious & I try everything to stay calm.
So, we got to come home yesterday- Saturday- around noon. We were exhausted after not much sleep at the hospital & I slept so good last night.
I am on bedrest for the week... Talk about getting boring real fast! But oh well! I can handle anything for a week! Eric has been WONDERFUL! Poor thing. I hate that he is having to take care of everything! He cooked dinner last night, breakfast this morning, and isn't complaining one bit. He's off to church now so I'm here hanging out.
I go back to the doctor on Tuesday. Although the inducement is scheduled for next weekend, we are kind of on a day to day thing. She said we would go ahead & induce anytime if there are any signs of problems... Praying everything will be good at my appt on Tuesday!
Oh, and in case you are wondering, I'll be 37 weeks on Wednesday so although it is a little early, it shouldn't be too early for Hudson.. He is looking great on all the ultrasounds. Keep us in your prayers!
