Lots to do in January!!!

We had a good January!! Great way to start a new year! We started off in Dallas over New Years weekend! We went to visit Uncle Gavin & do some shopping.. We had a full couple of days & were all worn out but it sure was fun. Hudson was such a trooper! He was the best little shopper & didn't mind being in the stroller too much! Especially outside.. He is definitely going to be an outside child.




Hudson cut two teeth a few days after turning 6 months! They are so cute! It is so funny seeing him grin with teeth!!


Eric had to travel to Las Vegas for work for the annual SHOT show. This year it ended on a Friday, so we decided it would be a good time for me to join him. I flew to Vegas on Friday & we came home together on Sunday. I'm not going to lie & say it was easy leaving Hudson. I was not worried about him being taken care of, it was just really sad to leave him for the first time... His Nana (eric's mom) kept him at our house on Friday night & his YaYa & Papa (my parents) kept him Saturday night. They all enjoyed spending time with him & he seemed to have had a ball! They were all good to take pictures for us! While in Vegas, we ate at 2 fantastic restaurants. Hugo's Cellar is a neat restaurant in the basement of the Four Queens. Fortunately Eric had been there before & knew that we needed reservations pretty far in advance. On Saturday, we spent the day walking around & seeing the sights. I had been told that there were many things to do in Vegas & it is so true. You could spend a day in each of the casinos because there is so much in them. Lots of shopping & restaurants, as well as architecture, light shows, etc.. So neat.
Saturday night we ate with some friends Justin & Terri. This meal at The Range was unbelievable... We then headed to see Jersey Boys. What a fantastic show! If you have never been to a show in New York or Vegas, you are missing out. They are so entertaining!
Sunday we didn't do much but travel.. We were able to catch part of the Saints Game in the Dallas airport but were disappointed not to see it all!

Hudson is just changing & learning new things everyday. Seeing his smiling face just does my heart good!! He is so sweet & Eric & I are having so much fun with him!
